Credit Union Scholarship Program
Each year Burbank Community Federal Credit Union recognizes outstanding student members through our Volunteer Achievement Scholarship Fund. The Volunteer Achievement Scholarship Fund was created by the Credit Union and established by the Board of Directors in May 1990. The purpose of this annual scholarship is to recognize outstanding student volunteers who have given their time to the operation and success of the student Credit Union branches operating at Burbank High School and John Burroughs High School, and to help further the education of these graduation students.
To be eligible for 2007 scholarships, student applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The student must be a graduating senior at Burbank High School or John Burroughs High School.
- The student must have volunteered actively with the Student Credit Union for at least 2 semesters.
- The student must be planning to attend college, university or trade school in the Fall or Spring following his/her graduation.
For more information about joining now to be eligible for a 2007 scholarship, please call the Credit Union at 818.238.2900. Scholarship applications will be available in April 2007.
